Royal Heat

When: Monday, Thursday, & Friday | 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Where: Oakland Neighborhood Center
Who: Ages 6-17
Cost: Free     

Royal Heat participants will be learning Hip-Hop dance, life skills, building self-esteem, and will receive assistance tp stay focused and on the right path, preparing them for their future.

Risk Club Independent Life Skills

When: Thursday | 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Where: Oakland Neighborhood Center
Who: Ages 11-18
Cost: Free

Risk Club Independent Living will teach participants job skills, life skills, and budgeting skills. They will also have the ability to attend college tours, business tours, and trip.


Girl Scouts

When: Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday | 5:30 – 7:30PM
Where: Oakland Neighborhood Center
Who: Grades 4th – 12th

Yah's Shades of Love Tutoring

When: Monday-Thursday  |  4:30 PM-6:00 PM 
Where: Oakland Neighborhood Center
Who: Grades K-12
Cost: Free

Yah's after school tutoring is to help students successfully master reading, math, writing, and Science. 


Halls Credit Academy  2023 Dates TBA

When: Monday and Wednesday (quarterly) 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM; 
Where: Oakland Neighborhood Center
Who: Ages 10-12 &  Ages 13-18
Cost: Free

Credit Academy will be teaching the basics and fundamental of obtaining good credit, this will help the children to understand how credit works in hopes of making good financial decisions in the near future.
